A Place

I've crawled into a hole/ I don't want to come out/ I like it in here/ No one cares if you shout./ You can yell all you want/ Drown in your own tears/ Beat your head on the wall/ Relive all of your fears./ The fears that brought you here/ To your little hole/ Where you hide from the world/ When you've lost control./ They'll call you a quitter/ But they don't understand/ How it feels to be lost/ With no one holding your hand./ It hurts doesn't it?/ Or wouldn't you know?/ Have you ever been ignored?/ Ever been this low?/ But there's a place you can go/ When the world turns you down/ I have my own place/ And if you look around/ All you'll see is black/ Like how it feels inside/ But it's warm and inviting/ No one tells you what's right./ No one's there to reject you/ Or say that you're wrong/ And however long you want to be there/ You can stay that long.
